Shared Showrooms Offer Diverse, New Products for June Dallas Market
Buying opportunities and new products abound in gourmet, garden, home
decor and kid products at Dallas Market Center, June 24–30.
Dallas Market Center, the world’s most complete wholesale marketplace, announced numerous new resources in its shared showrooms—Hemisphere Design Gallery, The Gourmet Market, Outdoor Living and KidsWorld Studio. These products and lines will be revealed at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market taking place June 24–30, 2009.
The Gourmet Market is the 25,000-square-foot shared showroom with unique gourmet and specialty food lines as well as housewares, cookware, tabletop, kitchen gadgets and wine accessories from more than 150 companies. Located on the 1st floor of the World Trade Center, The Gourmet Market is the only open daily gourmet showroom in the United States.
New products showing in June include:
-Brothers Sauces LLC – “Granny’s Brown Suga Dessert Sauce,” which can be served on gingerbread, puddings or ice cream (www.brotherssauces.com)
-Classy Delites, Inc. – “Gourmet Food for Healthy People,” including Balsamic Black Bean Dip served with Tweeds Flax Seed & Sesame Seed White Corn Tortilla Chips (www.classydelites.com)
-Enrico Products, Inc. – One-of-a-kind bowls, platters and other serving pieces made of carved root products. They begin as fir tree stumps and are then carved and sanded (www.enricoproducts.com )
-Rosinka Spirit Companion – Gourmet foods carefully selected to match white or red wine, beer, cognac and vodka. Products are packaged beautifully as gifts and include specially written toasts for special occasions. Developer is Dr. Katerina Belik, a Russian immigrant with a Ph.D. in Linguistics.
Food tastings will be offered daily in The Gourmet Market from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Friday until 8 p.m.). Buyers may drop their business cards for a chance to win prizes offered by The Gourmet Market exhibitors. Drawings will be held numerous times a day.
KidsWorld Studio, the shared showroom in the comprehensive 200,000-square-foot marketplace for children’s products on the 8th floor of the World Trade Center, will debut the following lines in June:

-Chi Chi Baby – Trendy, edgy and unconventional baby bottles with matching onesies

-See Kai Run – European-inspired baby and children’s shoes with ultra-flexible soles, soft leather and wide toes
-Sugar Baby Nursery – Custom water color storybook wall art and nursery items
-Victorialyn – Unique photography props, realistic sets and hard-to-find infant costumes
Outdoor Living, a 20,000-square-foot showroom located on the 6th floor of the World Trade Center, offers retailers state-of-the-art furnishings, artwork and decorative accessories for the outdoor environment including all-weather furniture, lighting, art, rugs, fountains, statuary, pottery, garden accents and granite and copper fire pits. New companies for June include:
-D’barro Pottery – Beautiful pottery, fountains and garden accents from Mexico
-Homespice Décor – Outdoor rugs that are durable for any kind of weather
Hemisphere Design Gallery, located on the 9th floor of World Trade Center, offers distinctive high-end home decorating products and services. New exhibitors for June include:
-Art Glass Interiors – Contemporary stained glass works
-Artizen Fine Arts - Featuring many artists who have earned awards either nationally or internationally—ranging from abstract to still life as well as framed art on canvas and paper with archival pigments
-Fiber Art – Wall hangings created from fibrous material created by an artist after she had surgery for a brain tumor and subsequently lost all previous knowledge then re-emerged as a fiber artist
-Invision Lighting – High-quality contemporary lighting that is beautiful and timeless
-Judith Stiles Lighting – Table and floor lamps made with hand-carved ceramic accents, furnished brass parts, marble bases and shades in fine linen, silk, parchment, bamboo grass or rice paper. Judith is the mother of actress Julia Stiles.
-Siyeh Studios – Tabletop sculptures made of glass fusion in brilliant colors on metal stands
-Warren Cullar – A bronze sculptor whose work is stimulated by rocks he has found. He makes sand molds of the rocks, pours in the bronze and then creates tall sculptures by stacking the rocks in various ways or impressing other materials on the “rock.” Cullar also paints acrylics on canvas with vibrant colors to achieve a Santa Fe look.
